Using the map
- Drag to pan, scroll to zoom, Shift+scroll to zoom time only.
- Click a band for its summary, releases, influences and lineup. Its tags and filter buttons narrow the map.
- The time brush at the bottom pans and zooms time. The ruler picks a decade (top row) or a year (bottom row).
- Open a genre's arrow in Filters to pick subgenres. Alt+click shows only one.
How accurate is it?
The dates, release years and influence links were written by hand and have not all been checked, and the
influence lines are judgement calls rather than facts. Lineups and the optional "All albums" lists come from MusicBrainz and may
include regional editions for 1960s acts. Corrections are welcome.
